Ethan Mitchell has been teaching locally for years, mainly at Willowell programs, but also tutoring homeschoolers indpendently and in groups. , and you can expect some guest stars as well.

WHO THIS IS FOR

Tiny schoolhouse is mainly intended for homeschoolers ages roughly 8-12.

HOW IT WORKS

Check the schedule, and let Ethan know when you're planning to come. You can drop off your child.

CONSENT

If your kid doesn't want to be here, I don't want them here. This is a tiny homeschooling program, not a tiny babysitting gig.

CURRICULUM

I have a pretty relaxed unschooling vibe, though I do ask everyone to get some "vitamins". That said, Tiny Schoolhouse is offering a great deal of deep content for anyone who wants to engage with it.

MEDICAL

Your child might get scratched up and stuff; it's probably good for them. I'll do my best to make sure they're OK. You should probably fill out some medical forms to make my life easier.

MONEY

I'm running this on a donation basis, but I do need to get paid, somehow or other. And sometimes we're at places that charge admission. And sending your kid in with pocket money makes sense, but it's also a whole complicted thing.

FOOD

We usually have some food, and we even cook meals on occasion. I can handle basic dietary issues, but you should send your kid with food anyway.

BEHAVIOR

Lots of mercy here and lots of room for growth, but bascially, if your child has behaviors I can't deal with, I'm going to discuss that with them, and if it keeps happening without improvement, they can't come back for awhile.
